is an amino acid derivative naturally occurring in most tissues and body fluids, being produced in the liver from ATP and the amino acid Methionine. It is concentrated in the liver and brain.

It is used in the body in:

Methylation pathways, being an important methyl donor required for synthesis of neurotransmitters, phospholipids and proteins. Neurotransmitters include serotonin, melatonin, dopamine and acetylcholine.
Trans-sulphuration pathways, for the synthesis of the amino acids cysteine and glutathione.

This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

1 serving = 5ml spoonful | 20 servings per container (This product replaces SAMe 120 Capsules.)

Suggested Adult Use: Recommended dose 5ml spoonful per day in water with food. The stated recommended dose can be changed as directed by your healthcare practitioner.Do not exceed this recommended dose. Consume within 3 months of opening.
