What is the NutrEval FMV test?
This is a comprehensive test to identify nutritional deficiencies and insufficiencies. This test evaluates various antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and other biomarkers to determine nutritional deficiencies and imbalances.
NutrEval® is a blood and urine test that measures over 125 biomarkers and assesses the body's functional needs for 40 antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, digestive support and other selected nutrients. Individual nutrient recommendations are determined using an algorithm based on patient test results. Functional pillars with a built-in scoring system help identify the need for therapeutic support in areas such as methylation, toxicity, mitochondrial dysfunction, fatty acid imbalance and oxidative stress.
The NutrEval FMV test can help doctors and patients understand how nutritional imbalances can affect their health, help professionals identify causes of dysfunction, and help patients overcome chronic diseases.
About the NutrEval profile
The NutrEval report categorizes results into several metabolic areas:
For which patients is it best to use NutrEval FMV?
The NutrEval FMV test is recommended for patients with symptoms related to nutritional imbalances and deficiencies such as mood disorders, cardiovascular disease, obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, autism, fatigue, weight problems, malnutrition, dietary guidelines, poor digestion, malabsorption and increased nutrient requirements during physical injury or recovery.
Even patients who do not suffer from unpleasant symptoms may be deficient in some essential nutrients. Iron, vitamin D, B12, calcium and magnesium are the most common nutrient deficiencies in the world and can be easily identified using a nutritional test.
What type of sample is required to perform the NutrEval FMV test?
The NutrEval FMV test is both a blood and urine test. Blood samples must be collected by a laboratory technician. A urine sample must be collected before blood is drawn. Before collecting urine and drawing blood, the patient should not eat for at least 8 hours.
Testing is not performed on patients under two years of age.
